NICK’S RIDE 4 FRIENDS
OUR GOALS TOWARD RECOVERY FOR RESIDENTS IN CAYUGA COUNTY AND THE FINGER LAKES REGION
Nick’s Ride 4 Friends is a forward-thinking 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization in the fight against heroin and opioid addiction and promoting education, awareness, and knowledge of the need for recovery and rehabilitation in our community. Our goals include helping people regain their sober life and become active members of society, bettering themselves and the community in which they live.
When you donate to Nick’s Ride 4 Friends, your contributions directly support our current and future initiatives to help people on their road to recovery.
Nick’s Ride 4 Friends uses donations it receives to support and maintain the daily operations of our Clubhouse, currently located at 12 South Street in Auburn, New York. Your help, donations, and support help to establish the Nick’s Ride 4 Friends Clubhouse as a foundation and major step forward in the fight against addiction.
To further strengthen our efforts, Nick’s Ride 4 Friends received a gracious donation of an entire building in Cayuga County, which will enable us to build-out and expand our services. This facility will enhance our ability to provide the people of our community with what they need on their journey from addiction to recovery and sobriety.
Many of the people who use Nick’s Ride 4 Friends services do not have access to transportation. Having a van to transport people to and from meetings, events, doctors’ appointments, recreational outings, and much more will be of great direct impact. We are currently working on securing funds for, and finding, a van for use for our meetings and Clubhouse. We estimate needing $40,000 to cover this expense. If you have any ideas to help with this endeavor, please shoot us an email.
Proper treatment for addiction can be lengthy and expensive. Nick’s Ride 4 Friends distributes a large portion of the donations we receive to help people get placed in treatment centers and offset the additional costs associated with their journey through recovery to sobriety.
